These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Derbyshire Trade Centre website at https://derbyshiretradecentre.co.uk/.

Any vehicle purchase, deposit, part exchange, finance arrangement, warranty, delivery or related agreement will be made directly between you and the dealer.

3. Vehicle listings

We take reasonable steps to present listing information supplied to us accurately.

Vehicle details may include:

  • make and model;
  • registration year;
  • mileage;
  • fuel type;
  • transmission;
  • colour;
  • body type;
  • photographs;
  • features and specifications;
  • availability.

Listing information may be supplied by the dealer or another third-party source.

You should confirm all material information directly with the dealer before paying a deposit, travelling to view a vehicle or entering into an agreement.

4. Prices

Some listings may not display a public price.

You may submit a price request through the relevant vehicle listing. A price provided following your request may be subject to confirmation by the dealer.

A price request:

  • is not an offer to purchase;
  • does not reserve the vehicle;
  • does not create a sale agreement;
  • does not guarantee that the vehicle remains available;
  • does not require you to proceed with a purchase.

Prices may change before a sale agreement is completed.

Any deposit, fee, vehicle price or other payment must be confirmed directly with the dealer.

5. Submitting a price request

To request a price, you may be asked to provide:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your telephone number;
  • your budget;
  • the vehicle or listing reference;
  • any information you choose to include in your message.

You must provide information that is accurate and belongs to you.

You must not:

  • submit another person’s details without permission;
  • submit false or misleading information;
  • use the form for spam or marketing;
  • use automated tools to submit repeated requests;
  • use the form for unlawful, abusive or fraudulent activity.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that the dealer will contact you or that a vehicle will remain available.

6. Sharing your information with the dealer

When you submit a price request, you authorise us to use your information to process the request and pass it to the dealer handling the vehicle.

The dealer may become an independent data controller for the information it receives. Its own privacy notice may apply to its use of your information.

We will not sell your contact details to unrelated businesses.

7. Dealer contact

After receiving your details, the dealer may contact you by telephone, email or another contact method you have supplied.

The dealer is responsible for:

  • confirming the vehicle price;
  • confirming vehicle availability;
  • answering questions about the vehicle;
  • arranging viewings or test drives;
  • confirming the vehicle’s condition and history;
  • handling deposits and payments;
  • preparing any sale agreement;
  • providing any warranty;
  • arranging collection or delivery;
  • handling complaints relating to the vehicle sale.

Derbyshire Trade Centre is not responsible for promises, statements or agreements made by the dealer outside the website.

8. Vehicle availability

Vehicles may be sold, reserved, removed or made unavailable without prior notice.

A listing remaining visible on the website does not confirm that the vehicle is still available.

You should confirm availability with the dealer before travelling or making any other arrangements.

9. Vehicle condition and checks

Descriptions, images and specifications are provided for general information.

Before buying a vehicle, you should review the vehicle, its documents and the proposed sale terms carefully.

You may choose to:

  • inspect the vehicle;
  • arrange an independent inspection;
  • check the vehicle history;
  • check the mileage;
  • review the MOT history;
  • check the service records;
  • confirm the registration details;
  • confirm any warranty terms;
  • test drive the vehicle where offered;
  • review the dealer’s sale terms.

Nothing on this website replaces an inspection or direct confirmation from the dealer.

10. Vehicle images

11. Finance

12. Commission

This commission is paid by the dealer and does not normally create a separate charge for the website visitor.

13. No vehicle sale through the website

The website does not currently provide an online checkout or allow visitors to purchase a vehicle directly.

Submitting a price request does not create a contract for the sale of a vehicle.

Your legal rights against the dealer are not affected by these terms.

15. Website information

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that:

  • every listing will be current;
  • every vehicle will remain available;
  • all information will be free from errors;
  • every price request will be delivered or answered;
  • the website will be free from technical faults.
